
Career Changers TV is a half-hour show geared to people who are looking for jobs, or searching for new business opportunities. It’s about learning skills and using available resources to deal with tough times, while adapting to an economy in flux. The program will be airing daily on Hawaii's Oceanic Cable Channel 16 (OC16) at different times, with new shows being produced each month.
Our Producers
Ron Darby is a local TV director/producer who has over 20 years of experience. His popular OC16 show, The Pet Hui, airs 30 times per month. He also produces Hawaii’s Restaurants and Lifestyles, Ohana Road and Island Driver TV, which have all run for several years with many satisfied advertising clients, who speak highly of Ron's talents.
Rich Figel is an award-winning screenwriter and former direct marketing executive for a major publisher. He was also a columnist for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and wrote for the Honolulu Advertiser. His wife, Isabel Figel, was publisher of the top Japanese visitor guide in Hawaii, which was bought by Duane Kurisu (owner of Pacific Basin Communications and other companies). Rich has optioned feature screenplays to well-known producers in Hollywood, and is developing other TV/film projects as well.
